Checkpoint Services, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Kristen Cox, who continues to lead the company today. Kristen started Checkpoint after a series of incrementally challenging positions in the computer industry that took her from Houston to Dallas and then finally to El Paso, where she launched Checkpoint Services, Inc. in her garage.
Checkpoint had its roots as a computer Value Added Reseller (VAR) and has expanded its product and service offerings over the years, becoming the supplier of choice to local Small- and Mid-sized businesses (SMB) as well as government and education customers throughout Texas and New Mexico.
